Our Highness, The Frog Prince

We'd love for you to meet our Frog Prince and follow him (and us) during our various activities leading up to the party. We've given him lots of tasks to do, so keep an eye out for updates!

Do you think the Queen of England would be jealous of his bling? :)

Just a few facts about our amphibious prince....

  • Believes that looks are always important. He is never without his crown!
  • Even though he is green, he hates green veggies, peas in particular.
  • Much prefers when women wear chapstick, lipgloss is too sticky!
  • Dislikes fairies because one turned him into a frog. Tricky, tricky creatures.
  • Has a best friend named Heinrich (according to the Brothers Grimm)
  • Loves a little reading before bed in the candlelight

Tablescaping with Rose's Flower Shop

Last week, we made a little visit to Rose's Flower Shop because they are making three different tablescapes for the party and we couldn't be more excited for our little collaboration! Here are a few images of the mock up.

The ladies of Rose's Flower Shop hard at work!

This particular tablescape was inspired by the Evil Queen but be on the lookout for the finished product at the party!

A Brief Villa Terrace History

The location of our party on June 9th, as most of you know, is Villa Terrace and we obviously adore it! We feel that Villa Terrace is the perfect castle-like location for our very own Frosted Fairie Tale.

It all started after the Smith family went on their honeymoon to Italy and were very inspired by the mediterranean architecture. In 1923, the couple's inspiration came to fruition in the form of Villa Terrace with the help of architect David Adler and remained in the Smith family until 1966 when it was donated to the city. Nowadays the villa serves as a museum and event space (which we are so excited to enjoy!). See you there June 9th!
